Carissa Moore of Hawaii was in great form at Bells Beach competing in the Rip Curl Pro today. The current World Champion posted a very strong opening round heat win easily defeating French pair Pauline Ado and Justine Dupont. Carissa tallied 16.50 to Ados 10.43 and Dupont on 9.50 to advance straight to round three.

Defending Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Champions Sally Fitzgibbons of Australia and Joel Parkinson of Australia are looking poised to defend their respective titles at Bells Beach when the Rip Curl Pro gets underway on April 2, 2012 . Parkinson defeated best mate Mick Fanning in 2011 while Fitzgibbons took down ASP World Champion in their 2011 final.
