Initial eliminations bid adieu to the world's best at Bells Bowl I Stone & Wood Post Show Day 2

The remaining men's Opening Round bouts provided fireworks from previous Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach winner, and WSL Champ, Italo Ferreira and CT Rookie Al Cleland Jr. Also, Jack Robinson, Jordy Smith, Kanoa Igarashi and more CT mainstays made their mark to march closer toward ringing the iconic Bell. Elimination Rounds ensued for both the men and women with Luana Silva and Bettylou Sakura Johnson handling the pressure amid looming Mid-season Cut talks. For the men, Matthew McGillivray, Alejo Muniz, and Marco Mignot secured their place with clutch heat wins as Heat 2 was forfeited due to Ramiz Boukhiam's unfortunate knee injury sustained in the Opening Round. Now, the stage is set to see who stakes their claim toward a first major result in the Aussie Treble
