PRAIA DO PARAISO, Costa da Caparica, Portugal (Tuesday, April 8, 2025) - The World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) will conclude the Europe region's 2024/2025 season with the Caparica Surf Fest 2025. Featuring a QS 3,000 for men and QS 1,000 for women, Caparica is the fifth and final stop on the 2024/2025 European QS. The competition window runs from April 15 to April 19, 2025 at Praia do Paraiso in Caparica, Portugal.

Celebrating ten years on the QS, Caparica remains a favourite for fans and athletes on the European QS schedule. Pleasant weather and fun waves are the norm in the Portuguese spring and the endless beachbreaks offer plenty of opportunities south of Lisbon.

The European QS season launched in August 2024 in Cornwall and has since traveled to France, Spain and Morocco before wrapping up in Caparica. A lot is at stake, with WSL Europe QS winners to be crowned and Challenger Series qualification spots are on the line. The top seven men and top four women on the rankings will earn a spot on the 2025 Challenger Series tour, competing in five events to ultimately make the Championship Tour (CT). At the end of the QS season, Tours & Competition will award one man and one woman a wildcard spot to the Challenger Series.
