Tapping into the speedy J-Bay wall and some very favorable headwinds he performed back-to-back alley-oop rotations on the same wave, leaving fans and his fellow competitors dumbfounded in the process. The judges didn't hesitate to throw him a 10, and one gets the sense they would have thrown him 15 if they could. Toledo had already bagged a 9-point ride earlier in the heat, so he earned a commanding win with his 19.00 points, not to mention a trip to the Quarterfinals.
