Gabriel Medina (BRA) was on fire in Round 4 at the Quiksilver Pro France Sunday, earning a string of 9- and 10-point scores. Here, he followed up a perfect 10 with a 9.40 in Round 4, Heat 4, and advanced directly to the Quarterfinals.

The score moved into his top two of the heat, letting him discard a 9.40 from his final score. Needless to say, he dominated and won the heat, easily directly to the Quarterfinals.

Reigning World Champion Gabriel Medina (BRA) upped the ante -- literally -- in Round 4 of the Quik Pro France: Taking advantage of a glassy ramp, the young Brazilian boosted high above the lip, completing an air-reverse with a perfect landing. The ride earned him a perfect 10.

Adrian Buchan (AUS) opened his Round 3 account with a 9.23, showing off his powerful, fins-free hacks off the lip.

With a World Title hanging in the balance, Mick Fanning (AUS) could not afford to lose Round 3 at the Quiksilver Pro France. He lagged behind a local wildcard until the final minutes, when he pulled off this huge performance to earn a 9.03 and win the heat.

Former Championship Tour surfer Alejo Muniz (BRA) found a fast barrel in Round 1 for a cool 9.10 in Round 1 of the Quiksilver Pro France.
