Do Carmo made his mark on the CT last year when he defeated then-reigning World Champion Mick Fanning (AUS) in Round 2 of the Rio Pro. In the next round he led 11-time World Champ Kelly Slater (USA) for the majority of their heat, though Slater ultimately won the heat. On the Qualifying Series (QS), Do Carmo's best finishes in 2014 were ninth place at the 6 Star-rated Burton Toyota Pro and at the Mahalo Surf Eco Festival. His career best is a runner-up finish at the 2013 Rip Curl Pro Piedras Negras Pro Ilo-Moquega. That same year, he became the Brazilian Professional Surfing Champion, a regional title.

Since then, she's sporadically participated in Qualifying Series events, finishing 17th last year in the Oceano Santa Catarina Pro and at the Mahalo Surf Eco Festival.
