Tatiana Weston-Webb (HAW) has been on a rampage in recent events. Currently sitting at No. 6 on the ASP Qualifying Series (QS) rankings, Weston-Webb caused the upset of the day when she eliminated QS rankings leader Silvana Lima (BRA) in front of her hometown crowd at Praia da Tiririca in Heat 3 of the Quarterfinals.

Facing Weston-Webb in the Semifinals will be veteran surfer Jacqueline Silva (BRA). Silva took down another Hawaiian earlier in the day when she narrowly defeated Zoe McDougall by a score of 9.55 to 8.75, respectively. Currently leading the ASP South America Series rankings, Silva looks to maintain her command before the final event of the series held at Pichilemu, Chile from November 13-16.
"The challenge is going to be a good one," pronounced Silva. "I'm happy because I've equaled my best result so far this year. I got a third in Peru, but I'd like to make the Final here because I intend on winning the South American title this time. All the heats have been tough at this contest, especially with the tricky conditions. We'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how everything turns out, but I hope that I can accomplish my goals to become champion."
In Heat 1 of the Quarterfinals, current World Championship Tour (WCT) competitor Alessa Quizon (HAW) displayed her refined attack in her victory over Maud Le Car (FRA) by a score of 11.10 to 9.75, respectively.

Facing Quizon in the Semis will be Suelen Naraisa (BRA), who exhibited her powerful hacks to eliminate Garazi Sanchez Ortun (EUK).
"I'm so excited because this is my best result ever in a QS event," stated Naraisa. "I love Itacare and it seems like it's the kind of place that makes me feel lucky. I got a wave that opened up right at the beginning and it turned out to be the best one of the heat... Alessa (Quizon) has been surfing incredibly well. She's fighting for a spot on the WCT and I'm going for my best result on the QS, so we'll se what happens."

Zoe McDougall
Pristine Sunset Beach, multiple 9-point rides, and Finals Day now awaits at the famed reef.
The 21-year-old last surfed in a jersey at Pipeline's world famous reef in 2018 and now has a chance for valuable regional points.
With scores still waiting to drop, Nathan Florence and Zoë Mcdougall lead the Triple Crown, but anything can, and probably will, happen.
