The 2014 Vans US Open is celebrating both its 20th anniversary and 100 years of surfing in its hometown of Huntington Beach. Each year, hundreds of thousands of zealous fans flock to Surf City to watch their favorites compete for the prestigious US Open title. Winning the competition has helped build the profiles of the world's best.
The event will host concurrent contests for the Women's World Championship Tour (WCT), Men's Prime Qualification Series (QS), Pro Juniors, plus several expression sessions and celebrations of surfing. The 2014 Vans US Open of Surfing runs from July 26 through August 3.
