The GWM Catch Up Day 2: Western Australia pushes CT to the ultimate test in all or nothing bouts

The Wild West lived up to its name at the Western Australia Margaret River Pro with maxing Main Break providing all the dramatics.

The pressure mounted each new heat with the Mid-season Cut looming and the first batch of competitors getting sent to the Challenger Series along with emerging World Title race contenders pushing to the back-half of 2025. From Leo Fioravanti's fiery performance to Crosby Colapinto's season-saving excellence, there were no shortage of fireworks. A surge from the lower seeds pushed the ante into the Round of 16 with only two spots left ahead of the cut line as nearly all the 2025 CT Rookies secured their place into pushing toward a World Title. With Bettylou Sakura Johnson and Erin Brooks headlining the women's Elimination Round, all the Round of 16 bouts are locked in and ready for more pumping conditions.
