Guided through his amateur and pro career by industry and culture icon Stephen "Belly" Bell, and soaking up the influence from his decades-long relationships with surfers like Kelly Slater and Jeremy Flores, Leo has developed into a thoroughly well-rounded surfer in all conditions.
In his second Olympic appearance representing Italy, Leo will be ready to seize the opportunity in the Tahitian gladiator pit, for the country that literally coined the phrase: carpe diem.
