Growing up in a tightnit, coastal community on Australia's Central Coast, Molly Picklum has become one of the most exciting young international talents to come from Australia since Stephanie Gilmore.
After winning back to back Australian National Titles in 2018 and 2019, and being named the 2020 Australian Rising Star, Molly qualified for the World Championship Tour in 2022. After winning the 2022 Vans Pipe Masters Invitational, the tour rookie made her intentions cleara few weeks later, winning the Hurley Pro Sunset Beach.
Finishing 5th in the world her debut year, Molly started the 2023 ‘CT making the final at the Lexus Pipe Pro, then went back-to-back at Sunset, winning the 2023 Hurley Pro, while putting down what many have called the best turn ever done by a female in competition.
With her contagiously positive personality, combined with a relentless competitive drive to win, Molly Picklum is at the beginning of what's sure to be a long, decorated career. Earning her spot in the 2024 Paris Games, Molly will be surfing for pride, Country, and her local crew at Shelly Beach Boardriders Club.
