Justine Dupont is best known for her command over the largest waves in the world. From Maverick's, to Pe'ahi, to her backyard at Nazaré, the hard-charging waterwoman from France has the results to prove it.
But her story stretches beyond big waves. After only four years of surfing, Dupont finished second at the World Longboard Championships. She was 15-years-old. She then went on to compete and excel in just about every category in surfing. Here are three things you should know about Justine Dupont:

She Can Surf Anything
Justine Dupont laid the foundation for her surfing career as an 11-year-old longboard prodigy in Lacanau, France. Now she's a women's Longboard Tour veteran, with over a decade of experience in the jersey. Her most recent win was at the Longboard Pro Espinho in 2018.
And when we say she can surf anything, we mean she can surf anything. Justine Dupont has been an active surfer on the Qualifying Series since 2008, she was a competitor on the CT in 2010 and 2012, and she won the ISA World SUP & Paddleboard Championships in 2019.
By the way, that SUP & Paddleboard win went down only a few short weeks after she rode the biggest wave of her life at Nazaré.

Award-Winning Big Wave Charger
Justine Dupont began her big wave career in 2016 after surfing 15-meter Belharra, a fickle deep-water monster in the Northern Basque Country of France. And whenever its breaking, she's out there.
Two years later, Dupont had a breakthrough winter season at Nazaré where she bagged some of the best rides of her life, earning her the women's XXL Biggest Wave Award in 2019. She even collected the Hydro Flask Women's Performance Award during the same run of swell.
Now, she's in contention for the 2020 Big Wave Awards and a potential World Record after winning Women's Wave Of The Day at the Nazare Tow Surfing Challenge.
