Kerr Wins ASP GoPro Challenge at Margaret River
WSL
Throughout the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro, some of world's best surfers scoured the Western Australian coastline looking for surf and capturing footage in the inaugural ASP GoPro Challenge. From the famed Box to remote beach breaks, they vied for their chance to take home cold, hard cash, with the result being a collection of 25 stunning clips. After narrowing the field down to just five finalists, a professional panel deemed one of Josh Kerr's entries from The Box a notch above the rest. Below are the top five submissions from the ASP GoPro Challenge at Margaret River.
1. How good is Josh Kerr's shack at The Box? The answer is on C.J. Hobgood's face. Good enough to win Kerr $10,000.00
2. Kelly Slater navigates a chandelier, before getting spit out of a West Oz pit.
3. Josh Kerr again, making the box look all too easy. Don't be fooled.
4. Kelly Slater finds the barrel once again, this time at a lesser-seen location.
5. Aritz Aranburu threads a beachbreak barrel, finishing with a massive layback.
