Where?
Boasting 3,500 km of coastline, Morocco has become one of the prime surfing destinations for people all over the world. Generations of Moroccans have taken the sport to new heights and built a booming economy around the sport with the common goal to share their love of the unique spots the country offers.
"The National Moroccan Tourism Office has always used sport as a means of tourism development and especially boardsports," a representative of the MNTO stated. "That's why we've partnered with the Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation these past four years in organizing the Anfaplace Pro Casablanca. The World Surf League trusted the potential to host an event there and we're proud to be partners and to participate in promoting our country as a legitimate surfing nation."
