Spectators can also expect to see some of the QS's next best talents in both the men and women's events. With 1,000 points up for grabs, the likes of Pro Junior stars Alyssa Spencer to QS veterans, former Championship Tour (CT) competitor, Nathan Yeomans.

"It's so exciting to have this event," Thompson said. "Although I'm from Wrightsville Beach, my family has a house in Avon and I've grown up all along the Outer Banks.
