As expected, Pipeline delivered heavy but perfect conditions for the last day of the Volcom Pipe Pro. Hawaiian Josh Moniz made a dramatic comeback in front of friends and family when he went up against Jamie O'Brien, Wessley Dantas and Cam Richards. But like most events, the surfing wasn't the only thing going on. Back on the sand, everyone from Sebastian "Seasbass" Zietz to Zeke Lau nervously strategized, trying to figure out the quickly evolving forecast. In the end, local knowledge prevailed.
