An eclectic cross-section of veterans and up-and-comers have been scoring at the QS 3,000 Siargao Surfing Cup in the Philippines, where competition got started over the weekend. 50-year-old former World No. 2 Brad Gerlach was among those competing against a tough local crew of Filipino surfers, who dominated the opening rounds. A tough crew of up and coming internationals includes Mitch Parkinson, Noah Beschen, Blake Thornton, Kiron Jabour and Skip McCullough.
