By now, finals day at the Swatch Pro, Silvana Lima's hot streak is no secret. Something inside has been unleashed, and on Friday morning at Lower Trestles she carried that incredible momentum straight into her first Final of the year. But she had to get through Lakey Peterson first, and in their Semifinal matchup, the two traded blows in a see-saw battle in which speed floats, snaps and serious carves all came into play, along with some true grit.
This, however, has been Lima's week, and there was no keeping her from her goal. Despite even falling a few times during the heat, she somehow recovered with an 8.40 that turned the heat for a final time. She went on to face Keely Andrew in the Final.
