South Africa's Jordy Smith delighted the local crowd in J-Bay with a a performance for the ages in Round Three. Smith started the heat with a pair of 8-point rides against rookie Leonardo Fioravanti just to loosen things up. Then he cranked things up with a pair of 10 point rides, including this one, which would have been an 11 if the scale allowed for it. Smith ended with a perfect 20 point score, the first of his career, and the 10th in WSL history. Fittingly for Jordy and his South African fans, it was a nice way to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day.
