Waimea dishes out punishment as well as glory, and North Shore icon Mason Ho took a heavy beating on one of his more incredible attempts to tame the massive wave. Luckily, he wasn't injured, and went on to finish his heat at the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau.
